So I am an associate on my grandmas DVC membership.. She wants to type up something & have it notarized indicating that, in the event of her death, she is leaving he property to me. Any suggestions on how to word this? TIA!

This is a legal question and the answer can be complicated. If you don't do what's legally required, you may owe taxes or not end up with the contract.
You should contact you estate attorney.

Another answer would be to transfer ownership prior to her death.

To transfer ownership the contract must be paid off correct?
Generally speaking, that's true. Some will allow you to transfer it if you also add yourself to the debt but I've never heard of that happening with DVC. I'd agree with an attorney or just having her get a state specific will such as at legalforms.com depending on the complexity and size of her estate. I don't believe a letter outside the will would be enough and could be very complicating to the estate in general.

If there is no debt, you might want to just have yourself added to the deed now if that's okay with your grandmother...???
