Leaving kids during the day

Is there anywhere to take the kids and drop them off for a few hours during the day vs. at night?

We are not interested in in-room care...I don't think my DD would like that very much!

No, the kids' clubs are only for evening time, about 4PM and later.

How much are you willing to spend?

You can have a babysitter from Kid's Nite Out go to one of the parks you just have to buy another ticket along with the hourly rate.

If you just want a couple of hours break you could investigate the Pirate Cruise.

Also I think the babysitters will also take the kids to the arcade, to lunch, etc if you are comfortable with that.

There are a couple of things like a cooking program at the GF and the pirate cruise someone already mentioned. Not sure of any of the details but you can probably find info on the resorts board.

Unfortunately, the cooking program at the Grand Floridian was discontinued last year. DD would have enjoyed that one.

There is the Wonderland Tea Party at the GF. It's a kids only tea party with Alice and the Mad Hatter, but it's only an hour long. It seems you are looking for something longer than that. Last year, it ran from 1:30-2:30. I think I read the time was changing on it, maybe to 2:00-3:00. DD loved it.
