Just returned on Wednesday night. The crowds were actually not as bad as I thought they'd be... Utilize FP... try to make a plan of what you'd most like to do and you'll probably find you will get more done than you thought. It boggled my mind to see wait times of 45-65 minutes and people would stand in line for it. It also surprised me how many people couldn't grasp the concept of using FP... more than once we were waiting to redeem our FP tix and were stuck behind a group of people who didn't understand how to use them and were holding up the FP line to get instructions from the CM there.
It did get very hot in the middle of the day and one day it basically rained all afternoon and evening which put a damper on that day's afternoon plans. I was just glad we'd gone to a park early that morning and got home before the rain hit. I believe they closed Blizzard Beach and TL that day as there was lightning -- not sure though -- guests coming back by the busloads were saying they were planning to close it. Didn't hear about any red flags though.
Consider what you will need to keep cool -- i.e, mister or fan or water rides, etc. YOU WILL BE HOT AND STICKY... no doubt about it... that kind of weather doesn't totally bother me when I can be dressed cool for it, but it is definitely no joke -- it is hot. So be prepared.
Best wishes on a fun and magical adventure.
