I have been looking forward to this trip for so long, and now as it is right around the corner-I am trying to figure out if I am forgetting something.

I stopped the mail
Got medicines
Shipped down a box of snacks and stuff
Have clothes laid out

Any advice on last minute things I could be doing? We leave Wednesday- so I figure Monday night will be my actual packing night.....:dance3:

Hotel reservations and tickets? ;) Kidding....

How about:
Newspaper delivery
Camera film or batteries depending on the type you have
Extra cash and/or small bills for tips

Hey! Just noticed your avatar..... GO BUCKS!!!!! O-H....

Have a great trip! We leave a week from Friday and I am starting to get stressed. We are finishing up a kitchen renovation so I have not had the time to think about the trip yet. I need to start making my lists. Hope the weather cooperates for all of us :)

IO baby!!!

My list for this week includes:

Stop paper
Stop mail (done online - awesome!)
Go to the bank
Take cat food to the neighbor
Wind the antique clock
Adjust the thermostat
Set timers on lamps

Have a great trip!

hand sanitizer/baby wipes is a must for us
Something to do on the plane/in the car

flu vaccines?

leaving contact info with someone back home

turn off email notifications from the DIS so you do not have a full inbox on your return.

arrange for someone to shovel your drive/walk for you if it snows while you are gone (so you can get back in and so it does not look like the house is vaccant).

Thanks everybody!! A couple questions:
How do you set timers on lamps?

Oh- it better not snow, lol!!! And the online mail stopping was great!

Buy a timer and read the directions. We have "old fashioned" ones that are manual, but newer ones are electronic and even have random settings to make it look like someone is actually home.

stop your news paper or have someone pick it up daily. Our newspaper was separate from our mail and needed to be canceled separately. Have someone check on your house at least once.

Don't forget your confirmation numbers for your dining reservations as well as ressie times.

Poncho's

an extra outfit for your carry on just in case.

Don't know how old any kids are but dont forget the "comfort items" "lovies" blankies pacifires special pillows etc...

Oh, and if you wear glasses, don't forget to bring a spare pair. I figure anything else you forget can be bought while there (it may be costly but it can be done) but glasses, alot harder to replace those.
