So darn excited! I am leaving to go to Disney with my best friend in 8 days for a short 4 day jaunt for the Food and Wine Festival! We were just in Disney for a week in August for my daughters 21st Birthday and my friend and her daughter were along for the trip....we chatted about how nice it would be to squeeze one more trip in just the two of us....
I literally laughed at her. There was just no way we could swing it. Well lo and behold....Delta had incredible direct flights for rock bottom prices, we found a hotel/rental car combo online that only cost us $119 per person at a hotel we have stayed at several times off property 
and since my friends husband just found a new job and was moving up to the Northeast for the first time in 10 years right before the trip it was like fate!
Then her husband had a heart attack
....so scared for him, so scared for her...they are as close, closer than family. We have done many, many trips to WDW and Disney Paris over the years with our families...this cannot be happening! But God works miracles 
and after a few weeks in the hospital recovering from his heart attack they made the move up north. There were other bumps in the road and each one was smoothed out! Now in 8 days she and I will fly to the Happiest Place on Earth for our first trip just the two of us...and my Daddy and his girlfriend are going to be there at the same time...and I haven't been to Disney with my Dad since 2nd grade (and I'm 41 years old lol!!!) So excited! I can't believe we had so many bad things happen and will still be able to make it!
