Yes, I have read the weather forecast, but I still have questions. In Arkansas, I am comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt in 70 degrees weather. So, in Florida will I be combortable in jeans and a t-shirt or do I need shorts? I don't want to get too hot.

Thanks!

We just returned two days ago. We were there a week and we wore shorts 5 of the 6 days. The weater channel going into the week said it would be mid to upper 70's. We packed for winter and summer and only wore the summer clothes. It was very humid for what I am used to so it seemed hot.
I wish I were more help.

When we lived in PA and came to WDW at Christmas we wore shorts. Now that I live in FL I don't wear shorts when the temp is 70.

Bring shorts if you want. If it is warm and you use them great but if not, no problem, just one less thing to wash :)

Not to hi-jack - but....

Right now weather . com is predicting 69 for a high and 56 for a low on Saturday, with scattered showers, then highs in the 70's and lows in the 60's the rest of the week.

How heavy of a coat/jacket do I need for Sat. night? I'm doing CP. Gloves? I just don't know how quickly it cools down and how 65 feels at night in Orlando.

On the flip side, will I be too hot in jeans if it is 75 degrees in the afternoon?

Thanks,
Lisa

We leave tomorrow and I'm not packing any shorts. It usually has to be at least 80 for me to be in shorts. I'm bringing jeans, capris, tanks, tees and long sleeve tees...oh and a fleece jacket for the colder nights. I think it's all relative to what your used to. We live in SC so I freeze if it gets below 50, where as someone from Minnesota might be fine in shorts in 50 degree weather!! :cold:

I am debating too if I want to take a few pair of jeans. If it stays in the 70's for most of the week, then I will wear shorts.

Of course it has been in the low 20's here so 50 or above in Florida may seem like a heat wave.

I just returned on Monday, was there for a conference and did not take any and really regretted it. It was very warm for the majority of the time we were there, got in to the 80's and it only cooled down to the point that I would have needed pants if I was in the parks on one night.

Now I have a delima of what to take with us for the families trip. We leave next weekend.

Have fun,
Lori

I finally just threw in the towel and packed everything. LOL
Jeans, shorts, capris, Tshirts, tank tops, sweaters, a sweatshirt,a turtleneck, a light jacket, and i am wearing my winter jacket on the plane.

I didn't take too much of anything because we have the washer/dryer in the villa(staying at BW), but I have 4 prs shorts, 2 prs jeans, 1 pr capris and I can layer the tops if need be.

I agree it is what you are used to and how you tolerate heat. My son wears shorts year around no matter what the temp is. We are 1.5 hours away from WDW. I usually wear shorts also, I had them on today. Nevertheless, when I went to the store an hour ago, I was in shorts and a t-shirt and I saw people in pants and heavy jackets.
If I were going to be out in the weather at night for any length of time, I would wear jeans for sure.

Pack it all.. Disney in december is somewhat unpredictable. We are here now and today I was hot in jeans but we will be in for cooler temps tomorrow!

I live in South Carolina so I'm used to heat and humidity too - and we leave in 2 days as well. We will be packing two pairs of shorts and the rest pants. There is one day with a high of 80, with the rest being in the 70's during our stay. The lows don't look too bad, so I'll pack one jacket and mostly short sleeved shirts. We're travelling with two very young kids though so we won't be out late into the night.

I'm trying to pack for my trip next week and have no idea what to bring. :confused3 We will be there 12-13 thru 12-16. Even if I wear shorts during the day it will probably be cool at night so am I gonna have to lug around a coat all day?

You can always put your coat in a locker. That's what we like to do.

I plan to pack it all for our trip in a week and a half. I like to be prepared for anything. I figure if I have it and need it I don't have to go out and buy it. If I have it and don't need it, that's fine.

It was COLD for my december trip last year. This year I am even packing two small fleece blankets to use while waiting for fireworks and so forth. They sold a million of those last december!!

I'm taking a Land's End Marinac jacket and light-weight gloves that will fit in the pocket. (I'd rather play it safe and you can always not wear it). The last couple of years we experienced pretty cold weather - and for some reason it seems colder around the EPCOT lake and on the cold benches at CP - plus you're not moving around much while you're waiting in line and listening to the performance.

It's cold today but I think it's going to get quite warm for a couple of days next week. Take a little of everything and every night watch a local news show to find out how to dress the next day. I do that all winter.

how about a pair of trousers that zip off and convert to shorts? :thumbsup2
