Okay... here we go..

1. What are divvies?
2. Have ressies for Kona and Ohana for bfast. should I cancel one or both or neither?
3.) About convinced to drop CRT and keep Norway breakfast. Is this a mistake??

Thanks everyone

I think the question about CRT depends on who is in your group. At first I didn't really want to go as our group is me, DW, and 2 DS's but I wouldn't dream of getting rid of it now as my wife is so happy we actually got ADR's for it. Also I am starting to kind of look forward to the experience and to be able to say that we ate in the castle, although the poor reviews I've read have made me hesistant.

You've gotta eat @CRT at least once! princess:
I've been for dinner & breakfast and both were enjoyable. Just remember your your not there for the food (which isn't as bad as some may lead you to believe...) your there for the experience! :wizard:

in answer to your #1 questions, what are divvies? The only ones I've heard about are the gourmet desserts like cookies & cupcakes that are allergy-free ingredients (egg-free, nut-free, and dairy-free.)

And I agree, keep the CRT meal...everyone should eat in the castle at least once.

Never heard of Divvies!

I would definitely keep both Kona's and Ohana's character breakfast! The breakfast is great, our favorite after last year and can't wait to go again! Great food and the characters were very fun and playful and it was just me and DD17(then). Also had Kona's for breakfast and it was very good food, though our waitress wasn't the greatest. If you have Kona's for dinner, that's even better! They have a great prime rib there! They had an awesome filet, but they took it off the menu a few weeks ago!

Why do you want to drop CRT? I've heard the Norway character breakfast is great, and the CRT food isn't so great, but then again it's eating in the castle and how often do you get to eat in a castle?

Good Luck! :)

If seeing Princesses is more important than eating in the castle, go to Norway. More princesses, less expensive and you still get a Princess photo.

Do the castle on another trip if you can wait.

While I agree that this is a very personal choice - that only you can decide...

IF you have adr's for both - I'd keep both!

We ate at the castle for my mom and my dd birthday - dd fav princess is Aurora, and I have seen pics of CRT where Aurora is there - not on our trip, so we had to spend a few hours in line at Toon Town fair to get her autograph (and I have to say dd enjoyed that time very much!)

Now that we're going again, and dd is older - I asked "can we go to the CRT?" she said she is so very glad she did that when she was "younger" but she'd like to go back to Norway where she knows Aurora will be!

IF your dd is a Cinderella fan - you must go to the castle. No other princesses are 'guaranteed' - and I dont feel there are "more princesses at Norway" (but you get Belle in her gold dress - so again if Belle is a fav - then it becomes a "must do" and now that I type that, I cant tell you how many times we watched Beauty and the Beast!!--

and I'll add.. Life is short! Go to the Castle!! ;)

Thanks everyone

Do know these are just my opinions, you will have a very MAGICAL time, whichever you decide!!

Kona - if you are in for the Tonga Toast, maybe google it advanced and add disboards.com - some say go to the fast food downstairs at Polynesian you can get the Tonga Toast -

Ohana - the Breakfast is another of our "must do" because of the character interaction - Stitch and Pluto are so fun!! Do know that adr times there tend to be more of a "suggestion" the dining area seems to be divided into "areas" and until your "area" is completely emptied and reset for the next seating... the entire mass of people that will sit in that "area" is in the lobby waiting... BUT that insures great characters in just your "area" - and the food isnt a buffet, it comes to you!!

I know Cindy is at CRT, but always thought there were multiple princesses at the Norway meals.

If there is a choice to be made seems to come down to the Castle or the Princesses. You'd have to decide which matters more.

I hope I didnt confuse you -

CRT - Cinderella sits in the waiting area for pictures - then you go up - we've seen Alice, Belle (reading dress) Wendy, Snow White

Norway - Belle in Gold dress, posing for pictures before you enter, Aurora, Mary Poppins, Jasmine, Mulan...

I understand from reading other reports that princesses rotate, so none are guaranteed - you may see Mary Poppins at either or neither - same with each of the listed princesses... (altho it has been consistent to have Cinderella at CRT and Aurora and Belle at Norway)

If you do like the Tonga Toast, and you are at O'hana's character breakfast, it's not officially brought to you whe the bring the food. But, you can request it and they will bring you some! Also, if scrambled eggs aren't your thing, you can request fried. I love the scrambled eggs though! But, they are very willing to accommodate your requests such as Tonga Toast as part of your meal, not extra! :)
