Where did this come from? I guess I've been so busy. I come check out the boards about every other day and I feel soo not ready!! I have my ultimate packing list with all my additions. I need to work on my shopping list! Yikes. I've got my towncar ressie.

DH sent me an old email where I sent him info on our rooms and I wrote in big font "only 189 days left!" Man time flies!!

Anyone else wait until the last minute?

WooooHoooo!!! I'm so excited for you!! :cool1: :cool1:

Everything will get done...don't stress too much ;)

Have a wonderful trip!!! :flower:

We are doing the single digit dance :cool1: Packing list is in good shape, have to call and double check ressies tomorrow( just the way I am), need to get school work for DD and I can't help but think there will be lots of last minute additions to the suitcase. I am checking the weather daily so far so good. If anyone thinks of something they have forgotten in the past please let me know.

We always seem to be packing at last minute also.It always works out though, have a good time. :flower: :sunny: :wizard:

Me too! We're having car trouble ARRGGG (brand new car and it's been in the shop 8 times in the 5 months we've had it, 4 different problems) and in trying to get it ready in time the days flew by. Nothing is packed! Haven't done any shopping! And traveling with a 2 year old, 8 year old, and 15 year old! Are we crazy?

Just kidding, I know it'll all come together and we'll have a blast. Hubby has a saying that "if we forget something, we'll just buy a new one when we get there". Good thing I don't let him touch the checking account. ;)

Have fun!

We are also leaving in 10 days - I haven't actually started to pack now I am wondering if I have left it too long! Yikes! I have lots of notes and tomorrow I am going to pull out the summer clothes and see what I will bring - planning to wash while I am there so I don't have to bring too much plus we have to bring some warmish stuff too.

Is there a packing list on this site or web anywhere - Our first trip - real trip as a familyl and I am not really sure what to bring and what to leave home.

Helen

My family is also flipping out with excitement!!! Especially being the weather is so crappy here in Ohio.

I've got eight days and haven't even written my list! I have been shopping though (hey, first things first!) This is a frustrating time to pack though with a little of this and a little of that for the weather. Anyone else thinking layers out there?? I know 50 to 70's sounds warm to us right now as it is 17 outside, but it may not feel so warm in shorts and a t-shirt. Guess I am going the capri route with sweatshirts. OK see I just did some packing and list making!

Elliemae, my hubby says "anything we don't have, we'll make do" I like your hubby's saying better.

 HMM, maybe I will forget that old sweatshirt ............ and we'll just have to get mama a new one!

Definitely layers!! Living in Texas the weather today was very similar to what it will be like. It was high 60's and it was fine in the sun but cool in the shade especially starting around 4pm. I do jeans and long sleeve knit t's and a little fleece jacket for morning/evening. I also have our nylon rain jackets (purchased in the camping section of Target) that I wore over my fleece on 1 particular cold morning last year.

We never bring sweatshirts since we fly and they're so bulky so we do the layers. I also bring a CuddleDuds (silky 'long underwear') top to wear in the am/pm and then go to the bathroom to slip it off and toss in the backpack in the afternoon.

I am all packed, have my new credit card, the DDE card, have my ressies, PS's and PAP.
I cannot bring myself to look at the weather forecast in case I jinx it. So on Sunday I will check the weather, repack if I have to and wait for Monday when I catch that flight to MCO.
:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

OK where can I find Cuddle Duds? I thought I would like to bring something like this but these sound soft. Are they hot or just like a warming thing. Are the long sleeve ones too hot or can I just go with a short sleeve one. Do they have them for kids?? Can you tell I don't want to be cold!

Thanks!

I've got 9 days too. I haven't packed yet because I'm trying to figure out the weather. I'm in south Louisiana and our weather is pretty similar to FL's weather. Our weather man said tonight we could have a very cold Mardi Gras (2/8) ARGHHHHHH, I want it to be warm. I don't want to have to pack the coats. :confused3 I wish The Weather Channel.com would display the projected weather for more than ten days.

I'm really not together. I have the stuff I want to take with me in a giant shopping bag. I know I'm going to forget something. I agree with some of the others, if we forget it, we'll but another one. Maybe that's how I accumulate so much junk.

Thanks. It looks like the weather is going to be great during the day (65) and at night about (40-45). Now, I can pack.

Eleven days for us--it's snuck up on us too, although we only made reservations a few months ago. Thanks for the accuweather site. Looks like nice spring weather--and no more snow! I can't wait to see color again. :thewave:

List? I didn't make a list! We leave in 2 days, now what am I going to do? I don't have a list! UGH!
