Hello we are just finishing getting packed up. Can't wait to go! But I have a ticket question for you.

Does the bar code on the old park hoppers hold the finger scan?
My daughter took a 7 day + hopper to disney with her in July and used only one plus at a water park. She put her fingers in the scanner.

I just purchased a Magic Your Way 7 day ticket. Because you can use those pluses at DQ I was wondering if we could switch tickets. I will not use the plues at DQ and she will.

I understand that the tickets are non transferable but am I still able to do this.

Thank you so much for your advice!!

Well you could say nothing and try to use the ticket yourself and hope that the turnstile at the water park misfired when DD used the ticket back in July.

In the event the CM at the turnstile rejects the ticket for you, well, you could go to Guest Relations and lie saying you (yourself) used it last at that water park back in July.

The finger scan data is stored in the database on-site at WDW. The ticket has a id that is used to match the ticket to the finger scan data.

As you pointed out, tickets aren't transferable. That means that the person who used the ticket originally needs to be the one to use any remaining credits on the ticket.
