have ressies at The Belvedere Hotel and are going to see "How to succeed in business without really trying" with Nick Jonas. dont know where to eat in the Theatre District, one thought is Ellens Stardust Diner......... any suggestions???????

Enjoyed Blue Fin at 47th and Broadway.

Had a great dinner at the legendary Sardi's. Try the cannelloni. It's at 44th, just off Broadway.

On the other end of Shubert Alley (on 45th), we had a great post-theater snack at Junior's Deli.

Time Square Bagels (212-997-7300) delivered hot fresh breakfast each morning. Delivery was free as long as you spent more than $5.00 They deliver between 38th and 50th St. and between 5th and 10th Ave.

At 40th and 8th is a terrific Dean and DeLuca. You can eat in or take out. Great turkey chili, sushi, breakfast sandwiches and baked goods.

Ellen's Stardust is unique and fun, the wait staff is very talented and very entertaining, but it is boisterous, not a place for a quiet meal. The food is good too, but mostly sandwhiches/deli things, not so much good dinner fare. The wedding soup is delicious!

Ellen's is OK- but it is busy and loud as Lisa says.

There are a few chain restaurants in the Theater District: Chevy's (42nd/8th), Hard Rock & Bubba Gump (both at Bway/43rd).

We like Victor's Cafe (52/btw Bwy & 8th)- lovely Cuban restaurant. Quiet, excellent food.
And St Andrew's (46th/btw 6th & 7th)- for Scottish inspired food.

Junior's (as Kevin mentioned) is easy and inexpensive- and great for breakfast, lunch, dinner or snacks. And their food is yummy!

Have fun. :)

Went to Ellen's for breakfast a couple years ago and had fun -the food was good as well. I think it's worth a visit -the kids still talk about it. If you have time for a decent pizza, try John's at 260 W. 44th(couple blocks from Ellen's).

I saw How to Succeed in December with Radcliffe and Laroquette. It was amazing. Enjoy it!!

I had a great time at Ellen's, but it is true that it's not a quiet place to eat if that's what you are looking for. On the flip, it is where most Broadway stars work before getting a big break. You might also consider Jekyl & Hyde's which is a fun themed eatery. There's one in the village and Manhattan. The latter is supposed to be better, but I have only gone to the village. Either way, have fun!

I wouldn’t wish Ellen’s on my worst enemy.

But yeah, Sardi’s cannelloni. If you like Chinese, Joe Shanghai is where to go. Order the soup dumplings.

OK...........have a ressie for Sardi's and Junior's is also a go........still deciding on Ellens Stardust.
