Hello, all. I am leaving for Disneyland for the 12th time tomorrow. (May 7-11) I have a few questions about the resort for my stay in DLR:

1: Will Splash Mountain be closed? It happens to be one of my favorites in the whole park, so I would like this answered.

2: How crowded will it be? I am staying Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, so I am guessing it would be average crowds.

3: What place is better, Cafe Orleans, or Blue Bayou? We are still curious about where to eat.

4: I also heard that sometime in May is the Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End Premiere, and it is at Disneyland. Will it be going on when I am there?

Please answer my questions, because I have to get packing!

POTC premieres on the 19th, I believe.

Don't know about Blue Bayou or Cafe Orleans, but we plan to at least have dessert at BB, just for the atmosphere. :)

It might also be good to know that "California Screamin' is scheduled to open at 1:00 p.m. on Monday through Friday now until fall 2007 due to construction for Toy Story Mania."

Yes, Splash is being refurbished still, and some others are closed as well. You can go to disneyland.com, to the Calendar (top-ish right-ish of the page), put in your dates, and there's a nice list of closed rides. You can also find out the parks' hours for each date.

I *think* that Mondays can be heavy, but I think the other middle-of-the-weekdays are less busy.

1. Yep, it's closed.
2. I don't think the crowds will be bad at all this week if they stay about the same as this past week.
3. I haven't eaten at Cafe Orleans but the food at Blue Bayou was very good when we went on Thursday. I definitely think the whole atmosphere thing added to the experience.

Have fun!!!
