Leaving for DLR in two weeks.....

While I have read the players guide, I still don't think I have a great grasp on the Park Quests. Do I have to "do" anything other than complete the questionnaires??? Do you have to complete all of the Quests to go on the VMK tour? Any other tips?????

I know these are probably stupid questions, but aren't those the easiest to answer

Make sure you print out the Tomorrowland Quest, they don't have it there. You just fill them out and yes, you need all of them to go on the tour.

Just did our 2nd DL quest and tour last week.

Bring the Tomorrowland print out with you. Go to VMK Central in front of Innoventions. Pick up the quest cards for Fantasyland, Adventureland and Frontierland/Critter Country. Answer all the questions, turn the quest cards back in and they'll give you all the corresponding prized. After turning in all 4, you will get a card that allows you to sign up for the Insiders Tour. Most likely that days tours will already be filled, so you'll have to come first thing the next morning to sign up for a tour. Usually they have a 1:30 and a 5:00. While on the tour, you'll get the Pirate quest plus a chance to answer trivia questions for other prizes.

We will also be there it sounds like the same time you are....Thanksgiving week. Our neighbors across the street just got back and did the quests but did not do the tour. I gave them the answers for the quests and a couple of the answers had been changed so just be aware that if you read the "spoilers" to the quests that the answers can change on a daily basis. They also said to sign up for the tour EARLY! it fills about 15 minutes after the park opens and is limited to 30 people a day.
"Gottotravel" gave some awesome advice on the quests and said exactly what our neighbors told us.
Most of all Have Fun!
PS Does anyone know if they discontiuned the Haunted Mansion quest? I want the Haunted mansion room SO BAD.

Haunted Mansion Quest is not being done while they are doing Nightmare Before Christmas. You can't answer the normal questions. You still get the Mansion room. At least I did when I took the tour last month. They add the card to the Pirate Quest prizes.

I have been wanting that one so bad.

Princess Donna - we will arrive at the DLH on November 21st, we are going to spend the 22nd and 23rd in the park. Then we head over to San Diego for a soccer tournament the 24th - 26th. Then, we are heading back over to DL (staying at the Grand Californian this time) for the night of the 27th and going home late on the 28th.... so two more days in the parks - woo hoo!!!!
