Ack! I have major trip anxiety! We're going for just two nights, visiting one park on Tuesday. Thunderstorms and wind are predicted most of the day! What are some things for us to do if we decide that the Magic Kingdom is out?
Is one of the other parks good on a rainy day?
Pardon me while I go have a nervous breakdown. :scared1:

Throw on a poncho and head out to MK anyways! I've always done it! :) Don't mind the rain here, it's not so bad.

Ahh.....forget about the rain chances and go to the parks anyhow! There is practically always a chance of rain somewhere in Florida, but it doesn't always mean you will see it. It could be pouring at Universal and sunny at WDW! It is true! And if you do get caught in a rain shower, wear your poncho and enjoy the emptiness of the park you are in. A little rain won't melt you and all the lines will be so short!

Hope you have a great time! :wave2:

it rained on us off and on at Busch Gardens today, but nothing more than a light shower. it felt great. the temps dropped by 10 degrees. :)

We've been having short showers - very annoying actually!! ;) They start and stop in 10 minutes. And then there is another one a few hours later...... we were swimming during them. Luckily, no thunder and lightning!

Go, enjoy - it will be fine!! :)

Thank you for the reassurances!

Does MK start closing rides for thunder and lightening?

Just returned and it rained some every day. Typical FL weather. Epcot is easier than MK in the rain. Some of the pavilions have more than one attraction inside. Innoventions is good also.

most outdoor attractions will be shut down for lightning. unless it's a hard rain, not really.

It rained pretty much all day, every day when we were there but it was more of a drizzle then a heavy rain. It was great! It wasn't even enough rain to wear a poncho and we walked on to every ride we wanted. Go to the parks and have a blast!

I could live with drizzle. Now I just need to get there! I'm an airline employee, and I travel standby.... my flights look wretched!!!!

We're heading for the airport in about 1 1/2 hours. Wish us luck!
