I have an upcoming Disneyland trip with a friend who hates fireworks. We are seeing the 9 PM Fantasmic show on a Sunday. Is it possible to leave Fantasmic and be far enough away by the time the fireworks show starts that she cannot hear the noise, or at least have the noise be dim/faint? She's okay with the bright lights, it's really the sound that bothers her.
We did Fantasmic five years ago and I cannot remember if there were fireworks in the Fantasmic show. Also, since it's been five years it's possible they have changed the show since we last saw it. Does Fantasmic have fireworks as part of the show? If so, I want to let her know well in advance so she can prepare herself for them.
When we went to Universal Orlando last year, I remember reading that the park did not have fireworks. When we saw the Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts, my friend got a bit anxious when there were sparklers in the show, but I reassured her that the parks did not allow fireworks and she calmed down. She had some problems during the finale of Universal Orlando’s Cinematic Celebration, because there were fireworks (what I had read online was wrong). I have no idea how Universal defines fireworks, but to me, something that explodes in the air, makes pretty colors/patterns and a loud noise are fireworks.
Thanks to anyone who can help.
