I’m planning our exit strategy from Epcot on July 4th.
We are staying at Wilderness Lodge.
Anyone ever gone out the back entrance and got an Uber at Yacht Club or Beach Club?

Yacht, Beach and Boardwalk are all good options for that egress strategy.
I have walked to the Boardwalk and got onto the Disney Spring bus and transfer to my hotel from there.

If exiting the International Gateway from EPCOT, I'd either walk to Beach Club for a ride share - or - you could exit EPCOT, take the Skyliner/Friendship/Walk to Hollywood Studios (each will take 15-20 minutes, most likely), and then catch the bus from there to Wilderness Lodge.

Yes there will be several thousand guests exiting the same way via the IG. You have 5 resorts where you can request a rideshare pickup. BC/YC, Boardwalk, Swan, or Dolphin.

On July 4th the traffic will be a mess so your rideshare may not be cheap as it often takes quite a while to make it back to the WL after you wait for a rideshare pickup.

Speaking from experience the skyliner will be very busy at close on the 4th (we were there last year) - line stretched back towards the resorts across the bridge. I would guess we wait a solid 30-40 minutes to get on and get back to the Riviera
