Leaving car at Riviera after character dining

We are at Riveria for a character breakfast at 7:35 am. Can we leave our car at the resort for the day and use the gondola to get to Epcot for early open hours and enter through international gateway? I think it would be faster than trying to drive over to Epcot with our car.

We could also have the driver take the car to Epcot to park while the rest of us (the slower ones) take the gondola.

Parking at the resort is for resort guests or guests who will be at the resort.
It is not for guests then going to the theme parks.
You'll need to move the car.
If you're staying onsite might I recommend just taking an Uber/Lyft to your dining reservation and then you won't need to worry about where your car is?

Hmmm, interesting suggestion. However, we have 7 people including 2 who need car seats. Is that doable with ride share?

I don't have kids so I am not educated on the ins and outs of ride share and car seats although I do know you can request one with car seats.
Perhaps in that situation you'd be better off driving but you still need to move the car to the theme park. You could also park it at DHS instead and then everyone can go through the International Gateway.

Lyft has zero options that include car seats. Uber has a Family option that would include 1 car seat. On top of that you'd need to cars. So, it would not be doable when you need car seats. Unless you happen to have older ones who can use a portable car seat (such as a Bubble Bum). Then yes, but you'd still probably need 2, since you can no longer have a rider in the passenger front seat. So that reduces capacity in any vehicle by 1. I don't believe even the biggest ride share vehicles there would seat 9 total people

I agree with splitting or just driving. You'll be glad to have your car at Epcot when you are ready to leave rather than getting back on Disney transport, particularly if you plan to make a day out of it.
