Leaving car at Epcot and getting back from HS

On one of our park days, we plan to arrive at Epcot for rope drop (and drive our own car and park at Epcot). We then plan to have lunch on the Boardwalk and then walk to HS. We will stay at HS through the end of the night until Fantasmic is over.

If we do it this way, will we be able to easily get back to our car at Epcot at the end of the night? If not, how would you suggest going about this? After lunch on the Boardwalk we don't really want to walk all the way back through Epcot just to get our car.

Personally,I would just begin the day by parking at DHS and then walk or take a boat over to the International Gateway at Epcot for RD.

That way,your car is waiting for you after F! at DHS.

I was going to say the same thing, park at DHS that morning. But it's an awkward plan and a bit of a hike to the Epcot International Gateway. If you're a Disney resort guest, I would forget your car and take an early resort bus over to Epcot that morning, then bus back to your resort from DHS after Fantasmic. If Epcot is closed when Fantasmic ends, you won't be allowed to enter and walk thru. Also, the normal buses from DHS to Epcot won't be running, unless they run one for guests who parked at Epcot front gate, like you. If they do, I haven't read any info about it. There's always the choice to take a taxi from DHS parking lot to Epcot parking lot. That shouldn't be a big fare.

Disney's Hollywood Studios bus stop 26 (I think?) has a bus that goes from DHS to Epcot (out front). I'm not sure how late this will run though if one of the park is closed.

If you will be paying for parking, you can Valet park ($15) at BW, BC, or YC in the morning and walk to IG. After DHS, you can walk or boat to where you valet parked your car.
