Leaving Aulani as I Type

And who else would be more apropos to share it with than DISBoarders.

I have a fresh flower lei around my neck, a plumeria tucked in my ear, a pool access band on my wrist, slightly damp hair, and little tears bugging my eyes as read directions for DH as we are driving (well DH is driving) towards the airport for our flight home after a wonderful, relaxing, special week in Oahu at Aulani.

Thank you to all those who shared helpful information and ideas which aided in us putting together a trip we will forever remember and great times we will cherish. And a special thanks to one person who shared a little pixie dust our -- you know who you are.

We had an oceanview studio. We arrived after dark and were (of course) concerned/curious just how much of an ocean view our oceanview room would have.

Come morning, DH peeked out the balcony, left the curtains shut, and said nothing. I said, "Well?" He said, "Go look for yourself."

So I did. And this was what I saw:

Every day. For eight days. So wonderful.

It is always hard leaving vacation places that we love!

I always feel blessed though that we were able to take the vacation and have such a great time.

I just read on another post that they are doing "outrigger canoe" excursion thru Aulani.
Do you remember hearing / seeing anything about that?
