We are staying at the AKL for one night in order to do the Sunrise Safari. We only want to bring in one suitcase instead of all 4 since we are moving to the Polynesian the next day.

We will be driving a van which can easily be looked into by someone. Do you think our things will be safe or should we just have bell services move our luggage? I'm currently thinking that we should play it safe and use bell services but I wanted others opinions or experiences.

Thanks,

I wouldn't leave them in the van. I would have bell services put the 3 extra in their storage if you don't want them delivered all the way to the room.

We had a rental van that we had loaded and ready for our trip to the airport that got broken into. This was in the MGM parking lot on our way to the airport, we only stopped there for about hour.

I would just play it safe and have bell services check it:D

I stayed at WL in Sept for two days until we moved to BWV for a week stay..only took one bag in the other luggage was just fine....at AKL there will be even less traffic in parking lot. Just bring a blanket to cover or better yet valet park the one night.

We've done it several times and never had a problem. But that's not to say we couldn't have any problems.

We've also done this many times. We drive to FL and often stop overnight in the Carolinas to sleep and leave everything in our van. We've never had a problem in WDW or on the road. But if you want to play it safe, have it put in storage by Bell Service.

IMO, I wouldn't want to lug them in. I have left ours in the vehicle "on the road trip" before with no problem.

CRIME HAS NO ADDRESS!

It can happen here there or anywhere. It is a risk you take daily. You can't worry about everything or nothing would ever get accomplished. Totally your call.
