Leave in the AM ONE last AK question..

One last question..what can the little one (age 5) and I do when we first arrive at AK while the big ones ride EE? I need an activity to do with her that we wouldn't miss doing as a family after the EE ride, meaning I wouldn't want to do the tree movie or the safari etc because we will all do that together. Are there characters somewhere when the park first opens? ... thanks for any suggestions!

camp minniemickey with characters is the other side of the park ( by the entrance kind of) so i would (depending on if you are going to ride safari next )go through there or maybe some of the oasis animal trails and then meet them at the safari. not sure what time the first pochahantous show is but that's geared towards younger kids and in campmm also. if you are heading to dinosaur next, you could go to the dig site in dino land or do the triceratops ride

I would head for DinoLand. They have a playground area for kids, and also a kiddie type ride like Dumbo called Triceratop Spin. My dd loved this area last year when she was 5!

On your way to Dinoland, if you go down the trail next to the store (can't remember the name-it's across from the movie), they get to meet Pooh and Eeyore.
