I've read on previous posts that the tile costs about $25-40 dollars, and it sounds like it stays up for roughly 20 years, true? But what happens to the tile when they take it down? Do you get to keep it? How long does it take once your picture is taken for the tile to be placed on the wall? Are you able to see it before you leave for home from your vacation? Thanks!

They destroy the tile after removal. What you get is a certificate with the etched image of you and the coordinates where it will be located in a nice little folder. This arrives 4 to 6 weeks after you have it done. Many relatives and friends have used my DS's coordinates to find his picture and then sent us pictures they took of it.
