Looking to change our 13 y/o sofa/love seat. Was thinking about Leather. We currently have Broyhill and it has held up well.
Is there such a thing as quality leather furniture and "cheap" prices?
If so, any suggestions. Where to buy.
I even looked on CL, but not sure I want to buy used. Thanks for any help with suggestions and places to look.

If you got 13 years out of a Broyhill leather sofa then I would stick with Broyhill.

Here is a site that may help you.

No, leather and cheap are mutually exclusive terms. Our sofa /love seat set was just over 2K, and that was 13-14 years ago; I'm pretty sure it's a Broyhill. However, they still look GREAT. They've lasted much, much better than our previous cloth sofas. I think this is a case of "you get what you pay for".

One thing you can do to lower the price is to get a "fake leather" back. Personally, I wouldn't. At some point you may want to move the sofa in such a way that the back will show (my sofa's back shows), and it'll look different.

If you pick it up yourself you can save the delivery fee (and tip).

And, of course, you can always try to find a used set.

We have a La-Z-Boy sectional, dark brown leather and LOVE it. It's only about a year old. However, we have had other pieces from them and they last forever. Plus, we bought the warranty at the time and we can return any of our sectioned pieces for ANY reason (cat/kid/defect/etc) and get an exchange or a fix.

We absolutely love it. Worth everything we spent.

In the past couple of years, I've bought new sofas for both my family room and my living room, and I've done a lot of research. I'm very frugal and am always looking for a bargain.

I think this is one area where you get what you pay for. Making furniture well is labor intensive and you want good materials. Cheap stuff doesn't last. If you don't mind replacing furniture every few years, cheap is fine. If you want it to last for a long time, it's better to suck it up and spend a little more.

If you are flexible about styles and colors, you can haunt your local furniture stores when they are getting rid of floor models and get some great deals that way.

You can also buy online. It's a risk, and if you have problems, returning the furniture can be a big pain. But you can save a lot of money. We saved over $1000 on a Palliser leather sectional that we got online. It worked out perfectly, but I was a nervous wreck doing it. I wanted the sectional version of a style and grade of leather that a friend had, so it helped that I knew exactly what the piece would be like.

One thing I saw over and over again in researching leather furniture is to be wary of Flexsteel's Latitude line. The prices are very reasonable and the leather isn't bad, but the internal construction is shoddy, and many people are unhappy about it. I also saw a lot of complaints about LazyBoy. My nephew bought a reclining leather sofa and it broke after about six months.
