leather furniture - w/dogs

our 35 pound dog lives on our leather sectional . It is about 10 yrs old and still in great condition. we made sure we got a good quality one.
Now on the other hand my brothers cats ruined his leather furniture, I believe their claws are just much more destructive than dogs.

I'm considering leather couches as well. My dog (about 30 lbs.) rarely gets on the couch, but I'm glad to hear that she shouldn't cause a problem.
