Hi all -
It's time for DH and I to buy real, "adult" furniture (we currently have a futon - nice wood frame, inner-spring mattress, but a futon, none-the-less). A friend suggested leather (a distressed leather) because it doesn't hold "dog smell." We have two boxers who are allowed on the couch - anyone have dogs and a leather couch? How does it work for you? I'd like not to drop a ton of money only to have the dogs destroy it! (I don't mind a distressed look - I'm most concerned about their nails puncturing the leather....)

, but they have left no scratches, no stains, no marks at all!
