I think the smiley's bug me in general. I will use a smiley face sometimes but using the smiley's in general to show emotion bothers me for some reason.

I've come to sigh when I see these icons, not because the posters who use them do anything that necessarily set me off, but because their presence indicates the content of the thread is soon going to make that downward turn.

In general, though, sometimes I like smileys, sometimes I can't stand them. My posts reflect my mood swings, and it probably means I'm a pretty fragmented personality. (Not that most people couldn't figure this out about me!)

I am very fond of my Halloween Mickey BOO, though!
