LEAST favorite disney animated film?

Pochahontas (sp) I mean come on. He gets shot so they rush him back to England on the ship to save him. It took at least 2 months back then to cross the ocean. Hope my ambulance to save me gets me to ER faster :rotfl2:

I really disliked Hunchback of Notre Dame. I found it creepy and weird, that whole fire dancing scene with the bishop(?) was just wrong in a kids film.

And that particular scene was even toned down from what I heard. I think the animators had to emphasize the fact Esmeralda had clothing on because originally she looked nude dancing in the fire.

I actually like HOND, but it's more of an adult themed Disney animated film. When I first heard they were attempting to turn Hugo's novel into a animated film, I was skeptical. I didn't like it at first either, but the music is what pulled me and I started to enjoy the movie too. I wish I had gotten a chance to see the show in MGM before they closed it.

I also like TENG mainly for Kronk and Yzma. To me, those two make the film.

I dislike these - Hunchback-Empr Groove-Atlantis-Treasure Planet. The disney touch and quality just isn't there. It's like something happened to the animation dept during those years.

I agree with you, I love the classic Disney movies!

I don't like the animated movies that Disney made recently where they tried to do something serious like:

Atlantis: just plain bad!
Dinosaur: the animation was amazing, but the story was boring.

I didn't like Lilo & Stitch: I can't stand that little monster

I never liked The Hunchback of Notre Dame: I just couldn't get into it, I mean you got a complex sad story about an outcast twisted into a funny animation musical. It just didn't work for me.

And lastly, and It pains me to confess this, but I can not watch Dumbo. Even though it has a great ending (and a cool beginning with the storks), the rest of the story is so sad, It has to be one of the most depressing movies Disney ever made.

I disliked that movie also. I just expected Disney to do more justice to such a great historical figure and it just fell flat for me.

Didn't like Hercules, and couldn't really get into Chicken Little!

I don't want to offend anyone, but I really do not like Fantasia. I just don't get it. Sorry!

You dont offend me! I dont get it either.

I have to agree with Treasure Planet and Atlantis. My Dd5 has the scholastic book of Atlantis and likes to read it, but man it is tough to get into!

Well, I've never had the urge to see Treasure Planet and Atlantis. The previews just looked soooo unappealing to me. So I'd have to say my least favorite Disney animated movie of all time has to be Lilo and Stitch. I just got so annoyed by Stitch, that I had to stop watching the movie 3/4 of the way through. :furious:

I didn't like Treasure Planet at all - total waste of time. I've yet to see Brother Bear and Home On the Range - it used to be we were the only adults in the theater without kids because we couldn't wait to see the latest animated Disney movie, but not anymore. My son loved everything Atlantis, so I've seen it several times. I liked it until they added all the "new age" crystals and so forth.

I love the Hunchback of Notre Dame mainly because of the music (Kevin Kline :cloud9: doesn't hurt), but it is much more adult than most Disney films. The MGM show was very good, I'm sorry they decided to close it down and replace it with nothing! :sad2:

I haven't seen home on the range either yet.. which surprises ME because I thought the previews looked great!

Brother Bear pleasantly surprised me.

The Brave Little Toaster. It says Disney on the box, but I think I read somewhere that Disney only endorsed it or released it or something like that.

Hunchback-Movie scared me when I was little. Yes, the Hunchback scared me and I never got through about 10 minutes into the movie :rotfl:

Hercules, most of their latest releases. Where are the animators and story tellers? :tink: :tink: :tink:

I can't stand Treasure Planet, Atlantis or Hercules.

I can't figure out if its the story line or the music that just lulls me into a zombie like state that I can't get rid of until the end.

Haven't even SEEN those, they interest me so little. Of the ones I've seen, I'd have to agree that the sequels are pretty bad. Cinderella 2 Dreams Come True, Belle's Magical World, ugh ugh uhg.

Huntchback of Notre Dame....weird and creepy. You always see it at garage sales! :surfweb:
