Is there such a thing as a "down time" at the Fort? What time of year is the least crowded and most reasonable to secure a campsite at the Fort?

September!

We were there for 9 days last month (11th - 19th). The weekends got busy but during the week, it was fairly empty. The kids loved it at the pool, not busy at all! No wait for the slide. There were several loops with only two or three campers on it.

But it can be HOT and it can rain!

We were there the week before Thanksgiving last year. We checked out the Saturday before the holiday.
The Fort was really empty.
There were no lines at the Parks. We didn't even have to Fastpass anything.

It has been a while since I have done it, but after the first week of January was extrordinarily dead. I even saw rides in Fantasyland with no riders.

That's the week I'll be there this year. I'm selfish, but I really do hope it's slow just so I can enjoy the Fort and parks with low crowds. I was there the second week in November last year and I'd call crowds more low-moderate to moderate. VERY tolerable and the weather at night was fantastic.
