Does anyone here speak Arabic? What program(s) do you recommend?

It's such a difficult language and so few people may have the skill....yep....you may have to keep jumpin' on this one!
 
Linguaphone courses are generally very good - DH is using one to learn Swedish at the moment. Their courses are fairly expensive, but they often have special deals on, might be worth checking their site periodically?

There is also a site called Babel Arabic which offers online courses. I believe the first 12 (?) lessons are free so this could be worth a try?

Our nephew learned Arabic in the Navy. He was trained to be an interpreter.

But he'd already had extensive training in Hebrew in preparation for his Bar Mitzvah (he's Jewish), and I understand that the two languages have similarities.
