Learned something new today

I have 2 diff contracts and learned that you cannot combine pts to make a nites ressie. Made a ressie for 2 days from one contract and 3 days from the other. Actually had to ("manipulate the system" as MS said) unbook a fall 07 ressie and get 1 pt and then rebook it with a borrowed pt from 08.

I always wondered why resales had xx pts banked and xxx pts borrowed.

Sounds like you have two master contracts rather than a master and an "add-on". With two master contracts, you cannot combine points from the two contracts to make a reservation. You have to book whole nights using each contract and then link them together.

If you had a master and an "add-on" (same Use Year, same base contract number), then you can combine the points to make a reservation.

We have two masters - one with 450 points, the other with 50. When I want to use the 50 point contract at 7 months, I make my once a year transfer either out of the 50 point contract or into the 50 point contract and use them up.

I have two masters and was allowed a once a year transfer to make my ressie for 2 weeks in a 1br. It took the CM a bit of work but she took care of it with no problem.
