leapfrog explorer smart globe??

Anybody know anything about it? Would this be a good gift for a 6 year old who has TOO many toys?? Reviews and best prices please!!

I wouldn't recommend it. The pen is finicky and right now our globe is great but you touch a country and it won't read it. I have to call Leapfrog..you can play the songs but it won't read the countries.

and it's fine. As for one not working, Leap Frog has amazing CS, so I would give them a call.

My kids don't really sit and play with it, but they do reference it when necessary. I'm not sure I'd pay $100 for it. I got it 75% off years ago.

Leapfrog has a friends and family sale going on this weekend for 30% off- google I don't know if the code is single use or not.

And I would give it 12 big thumbs up. The whole family here loves it. We've had it for about 6 years? The kids enjoy the find the country game. And as long as the batteries are good the game works fine for us.

I had to play WITH them the first few times to get them to fully understand what it could do. But now that they do they use it often. In fact we were playing with it yesterday. I think it's great that my 6 year old can find Uzbekistan on a map.
