Leap Year Birthdays

My SIL will get a real February 29th birthday this year. She'll be 8. (Or so she wishes. She'll really be 32).

Do you know anyone with a Leap Year birthday?

A friend of mine's mom will be 24 yo on leap day. I think her youngest child is almost 30 yo now.

I don't know anyone with a 2/29 birthday, but I once won a big slot machine jackpot on 2/29 and so we traditionally try to get to a casino that day just in case it's my lucky day!

It hasn't worked the last few times but there's always this year

My niece is a leap year baby. She'll be 4.

My best friend's birthday is the 29th. She'll be 9. I threw her a surprise party when she turned 7, and had everyone bring gifts appropriate for a 7 yr old (complete with a visit from a clown!) It was a lot of fun!!

Her brother's birthday is the 28th, so on the years where there's no 29th, they share a birthday.

DD#1 was overdue on Leap Day, 1992, so I stayed in bed all day determined NOT to have her that day. Didn't want to deal with which day to celebrate, etc. She was born March 2.

My 3rd ds b-day is Feb 28. He was born on a Leap year and didnt pop out til a little after 8pm. Not a leap day baby but it was getting close.

Im a little confused. The last leap year was 2000 so if she had a Feb 29 b-day she would be 4 yrs old this year. Do you mean she is "2" since its only her second actual birthday?

My DD Sarah, was DUE on Feb 29, 1988 (so if she were born that day, she would be turning 4), but she came along 11 days late, so she will be 16 on Mar 11
