I haven't been on here in a while. I started a new job and have been immersed in that...

Anyway! We are having an escape wedding. We are going to have probably 10-12 people at the wedding (including us). We thought about lunch at Le Cellier afterwards, but that requires changing, everyone having tickets, more noise there (we have eaten there at lunch), etc.

I spoke to our wedding planner today about options, and it looks like The Attic and Cali Grill are both available to have a private event. I am really thinking this may be the way to go. It is more intimate and doesn't require anyone to buy park tickets.

That said, after looking at pics and reading some of Lurkyloo's info, The Attic looks very appealing. My only issue is that all of the menus I have found on the internet say minimum 25 people. My planner is going to get me menus for both, but I am hoping that someone here knows if they will make it (and price it) for less than 25 people. We would just want to hit the minimum at $1000 (for 12 people, that's fair).

Any thoughts?

Disney's menus are super-flexible. You don't have to go with exactly what's listed—you can tailor them to your group and taste. If for some reason the chef won't make a certain menu item for fewer than 25 people, you can work with them to come up with something similar that suits your group. :thumbsup2

Thank you!!!! I like the attic more and more whenever I see your pics! :flower3:

At first I thought it was gonna feel all grandma-y, but the main impression I got when we actually visited was "light and airy" more than "cluttered and tchotchke...y" :teeth: Now I love it!

Really, I think it is great for us because we won't feel "lost" in there with so few of us. It looks beachy to me (having grown up at the beach on the east coast), quaint, and classy.

My fiancee' surprised me with Cinderella's Coach (Christmas present)!!! So I am hoping after it can take us from Sea Breeze Point over to the Attic!
