Leaky Caulron vs Three Broomsticks

I wasn’t impressed with breakfast at Leaky Cauldron. I preferred 3 Broomsticks ever so slightly for lunch over LC. It’s just personal preference. Out kids really liked the feast at 3B.

You can get half of a Ploughman's lunch, and it's not heavy, just cheese and bread and beet salad and what not.

Now I know I love Scotch eggs, and regret I let my sister eat the second one. Will have to get more of them this trip!

We like both, but I really love the Ploughman's lunch at Leaky Cauldron. If my husband isn't there to eat it with me (it's enough for 2 as a meal and 3 as a good snack), I get a side salad with a side scotch egg. The salad is huge and comes with field greens and beet & apple salad. One time, they gave me 1 scotch egg with the side, and another they gave me 2. I can't recall if they charged correctly, because there was a massive mess up at the register with one of these. That could be the reason it was different. I do like the Cornish pasties at Three Broomsticks though. The salad is way better at Leaky. Only 1 of them has the pumpkin fizz, which I really like. You can get fire whisky at Leaky and at Hog's Head. Since it's darker in Hog's Head, I find it easier to "accidentally" spill my fire whisky into my pumpkin fizz or hot butterbeer there.

You can get a half Ploughman's This will change my world when I go without DH I have gotten a side salad with a scotch egg, but I love the cheese and bread too.

Leaky Cauldron. The chicken with veggies is such a great break from park food

Preferred the food at Leaky Cauldron. Loved sitting close to Hogs Head at 3 Broomsticks.

We have been to both and don't really have a preference. I would do whichever one fits your schedule better, because the food and theme is pretty similar. We tend to eat at Three Broomsticks more, simply because there's more dining options in Universal that appeal to us which we choose over Leaky Cauldron.
