Leaky Cauldron Restaurant

Aside from booking a Universal Package, can dining at the Leaky Caudron be booked? Last year when we booked as a Universal package, breakfast at 3 Broomsticks was included and times were booked. I didn't try at other times in the day. Is the Leaky Cauldron just a counter service restaurant otherwise and you can just walk in?

There have already been people without packages who have eaten breakfast at Leaky Cauldron. It seems like everyone is in line for Gringotts and Leaky has openings because of that.

We ate breakfast and lunch there with no reservations opening week. It was surprisingly dead for breakfast. Lunch was pretty crowded. Loved all the food!

We ate lunch there today at 11am with no wait.

We did early entry to DA and walked into the Leaky Cauldron for breakfast after riding Gringotts. Did not have a package booked. There was no wait. It was before the general public was allows into DA.

We did Leaky Cauldron as a walk in, no resi, this week. Tuesday at about 10:30am if I'm not mistaken.

It doesn't seem to be an issue getting a seat without a resi.

Thanks for the replies; I think Gringotts is doing a good job a diverting traffic from the restaurants!
