Leafs/Habs in Florida

Hi all, NHL sched is out! Leafs have two games in Florida Dec 28 and 29, Montreal plays the Panthers on Dec 30. Both teams are back in Florida for March. Leafs Mar 3 in FLL and Tampa on the 5th, Habs March16 in Tampa and March 17 in FLL could be March break for some of us!

Wouldnt waste time nor money to see either of these teams in their home city -- no way i am going to burn Florida time watching them.
i would rather go to Vegas -- at least then my wasted money might give me a return

We're planing on going to the game Tampa vs Toronto on the 29th. My hubby is a die hard leafs fan and has been to almost all of the Canadian stadiums. He was so stoked when he saw the schedule as we've ha our flights booked for December since feb!!!

My parents own a condo in Fort Lauderdales and every year the go to Sunrise to watch the Habs play. NHL is not stupid and schedule those games when they know many Canadians will be in FL. Probably the dates that sell the best and the prices in FL are much lower than in TO or Mtl.

Absolutely. We've been a couple of times now. Tickets are a lot cheaper than ACC tickets and get there early so you can enjoy some of the "tailgate" party in the square before the game!
