Le Peep is an offsite restaurant approximately 2 miles away from Universal Studios. It is near the intersection of Kirkman and Conroy Road.
We went there for breakfast/lunch with a $25 restaurant.com certificate --we paid $6 for the cert.
This restaurant is a breakfast/lunch only, and it closes at 2:30 pm. We got there at 1:15 ish, and was seated immediately.
The four of us (2 adults and 2 kids) were seated at a table. We were told we could order either breakfast or lunch. The kids menu had breakfast/lunch items on it. My kids both picked funny face pancakes. This was a large pancake shaped like Mickey Mouse with whipped cream, strawberries and I think blueberry eyes.
My husband got the Eggs Benedict Harvest. He said it was the best he has ever had. Apparently eggs had vegetables in it as well. It also came with a side (smallish) of apples, and potatoes.
I got a skillet dish which filled with potatoes, eggs, and vegetables. It was very very filling, and very very good.
I got a regular coffee which was served in a large carafe. I was able to get about four cups out of it. My husband ordered a cinnamon roll latte which had cinnamon, hazelnut coffee, and cream. I had a sip and it was divine! I think the kids had a glass of milk.
The total bill came to $27.11. With the $25 cert, we only paid 2.11 extra. So, in essence, the entire meal actually cost $8.11.
We tipped on the amount of the bill., and left. They gave us no issues with the certificate.
The waitress was very attentive, and the place was fairly empty.
We will definetely do this again! The price was right.
Of note, there is a Publix in this plaza so you can also do some grocery shopping at the same time.
