Le Cellier's lunch menu

[/B]I read somewhere that there is no longer steak on their lunch menu. Can anyone verify that. DH is a big steak fan and he wouldn't be very happy eating there if it was no longer on the menu.

There is steak on the lunch menu. You probably read the thread about LeCellier now offering a pre-selected meal that you choose app/entr/des, from a list on the top of the menu. There are no steaks in that section, but there are steak in the alacarte section still. I know the filet is there, but can't remember the other selections.

I understand prime rib is on the pilot menu (don't ask me whether or not that counts as a steak) but that is the only beef dish on that particular menu.

It's supposedly a fixed price addition to the regular Le Cellier menu. Maybe that is what you read about.

Le Cellier Mushroom Filet Mignon - with wild mushroom risotto, white truffle and herb butter sauce $25.99

New York Strip Steak - with bercy butter, balsamic red onions, watercress, and roasted Yukon potatoes, $29.99

Also if you love chocolate try the chocolate moose(yes it is spelled that way on the menu lol) for dessert it is soooooo good.

Is that on the dinner menu? We were only there for lunch last week and saw the new pilot selection on the lunch menu. Maybe I missed it, but thought the lunch menu had only a selection of sandwiches and salads -- this is only the section with the suggested 3.

Thank you everyone for your replies. I'm still confused though, the post above says they were there last week and it was only soups and sandwiches? Am I understanding that right? Anywhere I could find a phone number for restaurant and call them to ask?

No, my sister and her husband were there yesterday, 8/29, and they both had filet for lunch. They loved it. No worries!

THere is confusion here. Yes there is still a regular menu with includes steaks and lots of other stuff. BUT now there is a section at the top of the menu that suggests for $29.99, you can choose one item from each of the three catergoies (appetizer/entree/desert). There are no steak selections in this new added feature (for lunch, but read there is for dinner). YES, you can still order steak, but it's not part of the 3 combo selection for the set price of $29.99. Hope this helps.
