There was a similiar meal when I was there Sept 6th 2008 for dinner ,and you were able to use your dinner plan, I choose not to, because of course the fillet was not on the meal deal nor was the Strip, I know that the ravoili,and the prime rib was one of the entrees,maybe they have changed it since then.

Yes, you can use the special menu on the DDP. We did and the portions were more than generous and the food was VERY nice.

My Mom and I had the NY strip on the (free ) dining plan on 9/17/08 and it was WONDERFUL! The atmosphere is great and the food is incredible~every bit worth the 8:50pm reservation time (although we DID get in almost 1/2 an hour early )

We REALLY enjoyed the pretzel bread~but we are bread kinda people

My Mom and I had the NY strip on the (free ) dining plan on 9/17/08 and it was WONDERFUL! The atmosphere is great and the food is incredible~every bit worth the 8:50pm reservation time (although we DID get in almost 1/2 an hour early )

Hmmm, well, we still don't have an ADR for Le Cellier for our mid Nov trip , but I keep trying! Will try right up till that day! Any thoughts on which would be better, the filet or the new york strip? I was planning on getting a filet from Kona's since I heard so many people rave about it when I asked for best steaks at a still casual restaurant. Well, dang it, they took it off the menu recently! Aarrghgh!!

I've also heard from a friend down there about 6 weeks ago that the shaved prime rib sandwich at Le Cellier is fabulous! I've been trying since then to get an ADR with no luck. Just keep trying, just keep trying!

I thought the prime rib sandwich was on the lunch menu only, is it now on the dinner menu also and priced differently? On the lunch menu it is $14.99 at allears. If I did get an ADR, I'd have a very hard time deciding between a steak and the prime rib sandwich! Bad for me, but love, love beef!!

We are on the DDP as we just got the Free Dining offered at the time we are going! I thought it was allowed on the DDP and that the ddp didn't restrict the menu on regular entrees. So, just to be clear, they do allow use of it at Le Cellier and allow full choice from the menu, right? Ooohh, now I'm getting hungry!

Got the filet 2 nights ago and would not go with the other menue just to get the app and pass up this great steak. Also Coral Reef has a great NY strip had this the last 3 time at WDW and always very good.
