Le Cellier? Worth it?

Some say yes, some say no. :confused3

in my oppion it is a no, I had a not so good dining experiance at Le-cellier and do not think it is worth going back to, just saying. :sad2:

I just want to know if the steak is good?:)
Among the signature restaurants, you could do do better at places like Yachtsman, Jiko (I enjoyed their filet), or maybe Artist Point (their filet was very simple but delicious and without a lot of sauce, the buffalo was also awesome and also without too much sauce). I'm not a fan of California Grill's filet. And Shula's Steakhouse (while not a Disney-owned restaurant) is said to have the best steaks at WDW, but I've never been.

For a 1-credit restaurant (which Le Cellier is at lunch), I still think it's one of the better options available at WDW. I personally don't think the steak is bad, but as you can see, there are some very mixed opinions on Le Cellier.

Some say yes, some say no, I, as a fellow Canadian living in Florida, having eaten at Le Cellier many times, say yes! As stated earlier, it is a popular and noisy place, so I prefer to make late ADR's and that solves the problem.

but no matter what I or anyone else says, You have to eat there yourself to determine that!!!!!!

Go for lunch and make it your main meal of the day. Don't waste two dining credits on it for dinner.

The problem is - Le Cellier became so popular - it ruined itself. The prices are ridiculous now, it's not worth 2 dining credits, and the wait times are usually really long even with an ADR. The service is not what it used to be either.

We have been there several times and the last two got progressively worse.

If you've never been there though - you should try it. Good luck!

Try Morocco too - it's great and under rated!

I don't find Le Cellier to be overrated. We've always had a great meal and excellent service. Our steaks are always cooked per order.

I would suggest trying it for lunch and deciding for yourselves.

We also enjoy Teppan Edo, San Angel Inn and the quick service fish and chips while at Epcot.

Good luck with whatever you decide!

We have eaten there twice. The first time the steak was horrible but we assumed, due to the popularity of this place, that it must have been just a bad day or something.

The second try convinced us to never darken their door again.

I swear, Waffle House sells higher quality steaks.

We haven't eaten at Le Cellier in the past; we haven't been able to get reservations. Finally we are getting reservations for this yr at lunchtime. I don't know if it's overhyped or not. All I can is if it's this difficult to get reservations something must be good about the place. Of my friends who've gone, they say it is absolutely delicious. If you can get lunch reservations there I would go for it.
