After putting together our retsaurant "plan of attack", we have some left over meals. Now we have an interesting situation. Do we use our extras to have an extra dinner at Le Cellier and something else, or do we use them for Yachtsman.

We are staying at the Boardwalk, so location of the reastaurant doesn't matter. The last time we went to Disney, we went to Le Cellier and it was terrific. We have never been to Yachtsman.

What do you guys think??

It's always more fun to try something different. :thumbsup2

That is a tough call though. Both are great, although I expected more from Yachtsman and somehow didn't feel as though they hit the mark I was expecting. Good, but I don't know that I would be in a huge hurry to go back. (just an FYI: Yachtman was our last meal after Jiko, Narcossees, California Grill, and Citricos, so perhaps it suffered in comparison for some reason) I know Yachtsman is a favorite for many on the DIS (and it is very good!). We were at le cellier last year, and it was also good, but again, not quite what I was expecting. Not sure why! Maybe it was the close quarters in the basement that threw me. (?)

If I were you, I would do Yachtsman since you have never been there. If you aren't swayed by the novelty alone, and you really loved le cellier, go there. I don't think you can go wrong with either choice.

I will be there in three weeks and plan to do both. I just could not decide. I will pay out of pocket for a the fantasmic package at Brown Derby and use the extra TS at Yachtsmen.

I'm just subscribing... I want to hear about this.

We love them both. Dined at LeCellier twice and Yachtsman once. We are going for a third night this August to LeCellier. If I were going to pick a 2 TS for steak it would be Citricos, or California Grill. But Yachtsman was very good. :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I'd go with Yachtsman. The several times we ate there the steak was very good.

We ate at Le Cellier once and thought it was good. Nothing really over the top special like I read about, but pretty good. We figured we would go back again (we both are steak people).
Then we tried YSH and were totally WOWed. Everything (bread salad, sides) was excellent. I dont think I could go back to Le Cellier now, after dining at YSH.

YSH is my vote. I have heard some "interesting" things about LONG waits at Le Cellier, even with ADR's.

Thanks for all the advise everyone! We are definately going to eat at Le Cellier once on our trip in November, and will probably do Yatchsman once as well. I think it will be nice to walk over to dinner from our room at Boardwalk! Can't wait to try Yatchsman after those great reviews!!
