Le Cellier vs Shulas

Shula's is by far a better restaurant. Having said that I love Le Cellier but there is no question the quality is better at Shula's

Le Cellier is HIGHLY overrated. Our steaks were terrible there. Little taste, and tough as shoe leather. The rib eye I had was one of the worse I have ever eaten and I have eaten lots of rib eye! The bread they served (pretzels) was also lacking - very dry. The cheese soup was very close to a canned cheese sauce taste also lacking in any real flavor.

I have not eaten at Shula's but I would venture a guess that it's leaps and bounds above Le Cellier.

I *think* what people are trying to say is ... go with Shula's. ;)

I agree, Shula's is a wonderful steak dinner.

I've had a couple of decent meals at LeCellier over the years, but also one steak that was just bad. But even the good ones didn't compare to Shula's.

And as a PP mentioned the 3 strikes and you're out rule, that is where we stand with Yachtsman Steakhouse. One fabulous meal there couldn't counter the others, including the last time I was served a cold steak. Yuck. Shame too since we stay at BC and it is right there. Luckily, Shula's is a short walk.

We've never eaten at Shula's, but that would be my choice over Le Cellier. The filet at Le Cellier wasn't anything special and it's very crowded as the tables are pushed close together. Le Cellier is one place we won't be returning to. Even though I can't comment on Shula's from experience, it gets rave reviews (as you can see from the majority of posts here).

Thinking of steak. How do these two compare?

We will be staying at Boardwalk.

Easy answer, they don't compare at all.
Shula's is by far the better steakhouse. LC isn't even second. Or third. Or 4th. Seriously, go to Shula's.

We did LC friday and Shula Saturday, I had bone in Rib Eye at LC, COWBOY CUT at Shulas. Same cut, same doneness - medium rare.

Being a major Shula's fan I thought this would be a slam dunk, but I was very surprised at the quality of LC's steak and flavor.

It was nearly a dead heat, Shula's was a tad more tender.

LC has a plus as you can order it with the mushroom risotto for no additional cost.

Shula much better wine list and appetizers.

It is good to see at least one Disney owned Steakhouse has a quality cut.
