Le Cellier vs. Les Chefs

Recently I changed my honeymoon plans to include more nights at WDW. Before all my ADRs were after the 3/22 cutoff, but now I have 3 days where I actually can book ADRs. When I called up today to request reservations at Le Cellier on 3/20 they were booked for the entire day and I ended up taking a reservation at Les Chefs de France. My question is should I keep my ressies at Les Chefs or should I switch my plans around to get Le Cellier later in the week? My fiance seems quite happy with Les Chefs but I've heard it can be a mixed bag.

Chances of getting Le Cellier ADRs for that week, this late are slim. I say a bird in hand...

Will you be at Epcot more than one day, even only for a few hours on a 2nd day? If so, I'd say keep the Chefs ADR and then when the system finally goes past 3/22 try and book Le Cellier for another day as well. We go to Epcot at least twice per trip, so we ate at both restaurants this year. Intend to do the same in 2009.

Congratulations to y'all, too! :wizard:

DW and I have eaten at both restaurants numerous times had great food and great service, you will enjoy either place. Good luck.

I wouldn't worry about Le Cellier. If you can get it, great! If not, don't change your other plans. It is okay but I think it is overrated. We ate at Chefs in March and everyone really enjoyed it.

I would keep Les Chefs so you have something and then call the day of and see if there is a cancellation at LeCellier if you have your heart set on it. LeCellier is the one restaurant we would be heartbroken if we did not get into every trip (so far, luckily, we've always gotten a ressie). We've never done Les Chefs so I can't comment on it (we don't like that kind of food at all).

We are in the minority who do not get the hype of Le Cellier. It's okay but not worth the agony people go through to get in there. We actually prefer Chefs.

If you can get Le cellier great..it is a fav of ours! If not Chefs is good. I really enjoyed it there too.

When I ate at Les Chefs, I was just not impressed. The service felt very rushed, and the food was kinda bland. However, I am *still* talking about the great meal I had at Le Cellier over a year later! I hope you can get an ADR there. They are first on my list of ADRs to make once the ressie window opens for April.

Le Cellier and Chefs were our two best meals on our trip! If you can get Le Cellier, I'd highly recommend it, but I also LOVED Chefs. You can't go wrong! Maybe try to get Le Cellier for another day/night of your trip. They are both 2 great meal experiences.

Thanks for all your input guys! We will be at EPCOT at least two days but on the second day DFi wanted to eat and drink around the World Showcase. His absolute favorite thing (besides the wave pool at TL) at Disney as a kid was the WS so I want to honor what he wants to do but maybe I can convince him to eat around the world in the afternoon and then make an ADR for Le Cellier at night.
