We'll be there in 2 weeks. I've heard from a few people that are at disney frequently say that the steaks at lecellier may too spicy or perhaps seasoned too much??? Any opinions from you experts would be appreciated. Also what steak would you recommend that would have the least seasoning? My two teenage sons would like to know. Thanks.

Wow, I've never heard that complaint before. We haven't noticed any such thing when we eat there.

But, we've found that all the Disney restaurants are very accommodating with special requests. Just let your server know your preferences when you order.

I'm a pig and I like my steak. Le Cellier has been on the money each time we have gone. I think the people you spoke to just have really bland taste buds if they are saying that! :confused3

I know exactly what your friends are referring to. Both my husband and I feel the same way. Disney seems to be notorious for "sauces" on steaks, especially at Le Cellier. The next time we go there, we will ask for them (and other restaurants) not to add the sauce. Since you have not tried the sauce, I would ask for the sauce "on the side," in case you like it.

Have a safe and wonderful trip.

You can always order your steak naked. My husband does that and asks for some ketchup and he's fine at Disney World. To him, a slab of meat that you can't slather in ketchup just ain't meat.

I believe you are referring to the NY Strip - which does have sauce. Above poster is right, ask for it on the side.

But there is no sauce on the Filet with Mushroom Risotto (my favorite).

Mushroom steak has no sauce and is very good. BBQ steak I enjoyed but DH said he was glad he dodnt order it as the sauce was very strong. The waiters are very accommodating just ask for what you want and I'm sure they'd do it for you.

PS Cheese soup starter is amazing, especially with the pretzel dough to dunk in it!
