What do you love about it?

What didn't you like about it?

Is there a dish "not to be missed" when eating there?

Thanks for your help!

I have only eaten at Le Cellier one time...just recently...may 05.

I was very impressed. I must admit...i can see where people do not like the ambiance. We were fortunate enough to have to booth WAAAAY in the back. there are only two booths that I saw, other than that, just tables and chairs. I am one of those people that really appreciate having a booth to sit in. I don't think I would have enjoyed my experience as much if I would have has a plain old table in the middle of the dining room.

I forget what steak I had, but DH had a "prime ribeye" and I had a taste of his and it was phenomenal. He and I still talk about this dinner. We will definitely be going back to Le Cellier!

We go to Le Cellier on every visit to WDW. Try the Cheddar Soup and the Dessert Sampler. Great Food + Great Service!!

It's one of our favorites!!! Starting with dessert, the maple creme brulee is fabulous! I am also a fan of the filet and cheese soup. Top it off with some root beer, and I am a happy girl! :jumping1:

No one in our party of 13 had a complaint! The cheese soup is very remarkable and worth returning for! The steaks were wonderful (had a texan with us who is picky about steak and he loved it), the bread sticks were a rave as well....even the kids were eating well...The iced tea was great, had a wonderful table in front of the fireplace and our server kept the tea and bread coming...we had a huge character meal earlier in the day and I was not that hungry and had the cheese soup and and the most fabulous spinach salad - loved the dressing and boy was it huge - very filling meal, could not even have dessert, though many of our group did and again, raves! We will definately make it a must on our next trip.

I couldn't have said it better myself!! :jumping1: If only they had a full bar to order some mixed drinks...Le Celliar is probably my favorite :cool1:

This is one of our favorite restaurants. We also love the pretzel bread. I am not a big carnivore and I love the steaks there.

 must...have...pretzel....br...e...a..... :faint:

*picks self off floor* Huh?...wha?...I'm ok...where was I? Oh yeah, Le Cellier...the ambiance is great...dark and quiet, just the way I like it! Steaks are pretty darn good too!!

One of the TOP eateries at WDW, IMHO. cast iron seared lake trout Entree salad is outstanding, and can be a meal all by itself, and the soft shell crab sandwich is fantastic.
And the waitstaff is always happy to answer your questions about their country, and are amongst the most friendly servers on property.

I find the restaurant a very nice place to relax and not formidable at all. While the pretzel bread is very tasty I have to say that I am not one who goes crazy for the cheese soup.

I have lived in Canada now for 7 years moving from NC and have traveled quite extensively up here and haven't found cheese soup on the menu yet! I find that very funny.

I love their steaks and the appetizers are very tasty, we eat there every time even before we moved to Canada, I hope you enjoy it as much as we do. Our next visit will be this October and we have a stop already planned.

Enjoy:
Carol

Got all the dining ressies I wanted except for Cellier!!!!! Figures!

What was I thinking? It's F&W Festival time!

Sorry to hear you could not get a ressie! I say try & try again, Le Cellier is worth it IMHO. Like many I am a fan of the CHeese Soup and Pretzel Bread, and my fave entree there is the Mushroom Filet, the wild mushroom risotto is to die for... if I could get just a big bowl of it topped with the fried crispy bits I would!

Have fun on your trip!

What do you love about it? PRETZEL BREAD

What didn't you like about it? Limited selection for my diet, but I'll make it work!

Is there a dish "not to be missed" when eating there? The prime rib is wonderful, but the pretzel bread is just amazing.

(Okay, I'm going to end now or I'll start whining about how much I love the pretzel bread and can't have any now due to my diet.) :faint: :::sigh:::: oh, well, it's worth it. :)

If you can't get an ADR right now try back a few weeks before. Usually there will be some openings then. And actually a CM mentioned that to me about changing my time for one of my ADR's later on, bc I couldn't get the exact time I wanted. :sunny:

Is the Cheddar Cheese Soup like a soup? Eat with a spoon? Or is is a thick type of soup?

This is just my opinion but the steaks are good, just stay away from the prime rib. It is herb encrusted, and seared, and it is a thin cut so it tends to be dry and not tender. The filet is very goodj though as is the pretzel bread.

I have to admit that my favorite is the mushroom risotto, yummmmm. Of course I lvoe all risotto, and will book a restaurant just to try it. My husband likes the steaks. The kids like just about everything.

It is a thicker soup like a general cream soup I would say. Not as thick as some Broccoli cheddar soups or a potato soup. Yummy eaten with a spoon or even better, scooped up on Pretzel bread! :sunny:
