Which has the best steak. Were not on the dining plan. Were using the TIW. The advantage I see to eating at Shulas is 2 hours of free child care. Any opinions.

Most people on the boards can't speak firsthand about Le Cellier's new dinner. Personally, I really love the upgraded food, and I saw lots of people enjoying their steak.

But I didn't actually order steak. And I've never been to Shula's either, so I don't know how it is. But if you're looking for steak and paying OOP I assume (based on the comments) that Shula's would be better.

Indeed it is!! Especially with TIW.
If you just happened to be in Epcot, Le Cellier would be fine. But if you have a choice-----

Hands down....Shula's. I had one of my better steakhouse dinners there. While I had one of my more unpleasant meals at Le Cellier (my steak was way undercooked and the service was semi-rude & rushed).

You can also get a certificate from restaurant.com for Shula's. Look for a discount code, too! You can get a $25 certificate for $4.

I've eaten in Shula's in Norfolk and Le Cellier several years ago. Both were good. Neither struck me as being better than the other.

le cellier --hands down! but I do love Shula's so you can't go wrong. We swing towards seafood usually so love blue zoo

While I haven't tried the new Le Cellier dinner menu...in the past...Shula's steaks were leaps and bounds above the quality (both meat and prep) of Le Cellier. The only thing with Shula's- it's not unique to Disney. i.e. I can get Shula's here at home (and I don't live in FL), so doing Shula's at Disney isn't overly special.

Unless the new Le Cellier menu has upgraded their beef (which I haven't heard verified yet) then there is no way it can compare to the beef served by Shula's. It's simply a question of beef quality and the 'Shula cut' is superior to 'choice'.

While the Shula's streaks are probably better than le cellier and some choice steaks, they technically can't be superior to choice. The Shula's cut does NOT meet all of the requirements of prime and everything lower than prime is categorized as choice or lower.

In contrast, places like Peter Lugar specifically inspect only prime meat to select the very best of that category. Shula's is NOT of that caliber.

Well last I read Shula's as named one of the Top 10 Steakhouses in the country.
So that should answer your question.

Really between the two is atmosphere vs Food.
For a nice Disney fun meal LeCell.
For the better food, Shula's

Your pick for what your looking for.
Enjoy either way.

Shula's claim to equal or surpass 'prime' qualifications in all EXCEPT one catagory. Don't know what that one catagory is. It's true 'choice' can be near prime quality ... But still below.

Shula's is definitely one of the top steak chains, and I am sure they have made some top ten lists somewhere. However, I have never seen them on a list of top ten individual steak houses. Shula's just isn't of the same caliber as a Peter Lugar's or a great Chicago steak house.

No, it's not even as good as Ruths or Mortons. But it's the best at WDW.

I started a thread earlier regarding Le Cellier lunch vs. the new signature dinner. The posters that responded said the LC has upgraded the beef quality for dinner.
