Is it true, am I reading right? Is Le Cellier just one credit per person now? When did this change? I'm assuming it's even harder to get a reservation now...

It has always been one credit. There is always speculation/rumors abounding that it will change since it is one of the better deals with the meal plan.

I would have sworn it was 2 credits when we ate there last year. Clearly I need more coffee. :surfweb: Thanks!

I believe Coral Reef was 2TS at one point, and downgraded to 1TS, and maybe Chefs de France... but not Le Cellier.

We just dined at Le'Cellier. They charged 1 point per person. It was the best steak dinner ever! The service was outstanding! You would think it would be 2 points... but no, it's 1. ::yes::

I've eaten at Le Cellier several times a year since the DDP came out 3 1/2 years ago. It's always been one credit.

FYI: Tutto Italia is also one credit, but is as expensive as some of the Signature restaurants. It is also a very good value on the DDP.

Yes, I agree. We have been using the dining plan since 2005 and have eaten at LeCellier three times since then and it has always been 1 TS credit. For a short time Coral Reef was 2 TS credits - glad it's not anymore, though! I also think Brown Derby should be 1 credit. It's good, but no better than LeCellier, in my opinion.

We are on the DDP in Dec. This will be our 3rd time and this is the 1st time we are eating at Le Cellier, is it as good as the people say it is. We could never get a ressie for it during our other vacations.

Just at Le Cellier and Coral Reef last week still 1TS each. Great filet and NY strip at Le Cellier and NY strip at Coral Reef. I think the steak at Coral Reef was actually tastier.

I think people tend to go in with their expectations set way too high. Meat is probably comparable to an Outback steakhouse or some other chain steak house. We personally like the atmosphere and the feel of the place, although tables are way too close together. Always had excellent service there. Bread sticks are good. Overall, a good place to eat.

I don't think I could compare LeCellier to a a chain steakhouse. I've never had a filet at Outback that compares to LeCellier.

We have always enjoyed dining there...nice atmosphere, good service, great steaks and ample wine list.

I could swear that when the DDP first came out LeCellier was 2 TS. Then after a few months it went down to 1.

I find great steaks at Target (Sutton and Dodge brand). Since then, I can no longer eat at Outback.
