I can not get a dinner at Le Cellier but was able to get a lunch. As anyone ever ate at both times and if so is there much of a difference? I checked the menu and it seems almost the same. I just have heard such great things about this place and I am hoping by eating lunch there we will not miss too much. Thanks for any help.

Other than a few food choices, there is no difference. Generally, portions are smaller and the price is a little less at lunch, but the quality is the same!

At lunch I had a fabulous hamburger. But at dinner I had a shrimp pasta dish that was also outstanding. The cheese beer soup is offered at lunch and dinner so dh is happy either way!

It's a toss up!

I definitely prefer the lunch to the dinner. I wouldn't worry about "missing" anything. It's a great meal either way.

We ate lunch there and it was great (9/1). The cheese soup is the best part of the meal IMHO. My son (16) had the filet and I had the french dip. I couldn't finish my meal, so I guess it doesn't matter if the portions are a little smaller at lunch. He's a big eater and couldn't finish his desert, of course he ate half of my sandwich...

We had the same thing happen to us, so we did a 2:50 lunch, last res before dinner. The place was so quiet because they were preparing for dinner(place was pretty much empty) and the food was still great!!! I would say go for lunch, it is very worth it.
