Le Cellier lunch vs. dinner

Is there a better chance of getting a lunch reservation over a dinner reservation? What is the difference between the two? Thanks!

PS - How early can you call Disney Dining on your 90 day mark?

There is a difference between lunch and dinner, go to allears.net for the menus. And it is easier to get lunch reservations for le cellier. And also you can start booking 6AM through online which i think is easier.

Lunch is a lot of salads and sandwiches, as well as a few entrees. Dinner is almost all steak entrees, as well as a fish, chicken, and vegetarian one. Dinner is more popular.

You can start booking online at 6:00, or call at 7:00. Personally, I'd be online at 6:00, and if there's anything I have trouble getting or can't get online, call at 7:00 for those.

I think that it is a bit easier to get a lunch reservation. If you prefer dinner, I would try to get dinner and have a back up plan just in case (for different days or for lunch that same day). I took lunch on a completely different day because I couldn't get dinner on number of days, but I kept looking and found a dinner for a different day. It is an hour earlier than I wanted, but I'll keep it! (It is for 4:30, and I would have preferred 5:30 or anywhere between 5 and 6 pm.) As you can see, being flexible is helpful.

I didn't have a backup plan, so I was just figuring things out on the fly. Have a backup plan! If you don't get LC, figure out your second choice restaurant and take it. You can always go back and look later. If you find what you want, you can cancel what you don't want. When you make the online ADRs, the system will suggest other restaurants for the same time if your first choice isn't available. I took Chefs de France, and then I kept looking. And then I canceled it when I found a LC ADR.

You can make online ADRs (advanced dining reservations) at 6 am Eastern, and you can make ADRs through the phone line at 7 am Eastern.
