Today is my 180 day mark. I called to make my ADRs and got everything I wanted:banana: ...except Le Cellier  . They could get me 2 tables ( I only have five in my party) at a time that was within an HOUR of what I wanted, but they could not guarantee me 1 table unless I went for a 4:10 reservation! This leads me to a few questions:

Has anyone had reservations for two tables at Le Cellier and ended up getting one?

Is Le Cellier so good that we should keep the reservation for 2 tables over, say, Coral Reef where we could sit at one table?

Is this a bad indicator to how crowded it will be at WDW in general during our trip?

I'm surprised to hear that it's already booked 180 days out in September. Is there a special event going on the week you're going? I thought it tended to be less crowded because of the kids going back to school.

Try Le Cellier for lunch, that's what we did but we had shorter notice for ADRs. We very much enjoyed it - and you can still get the yummy bread, soup and steaks. Just smaller portions I think. :thumbsup2

Le Cellier, is probably one of the most if not the hardest restaurant in Epcot to book. It isnt necessarily a indication of how busy the park will be booking up to 6 months in advance is normal. You might try to keep calling the reservation line and see if a spot opens up, its a bit grooling but if your 6 months out and adiment and flexible you have a good shot.

I called yesterday for Sept. 3--got 6:30 with no problem (our normal dinner time w/husband's schedule) and CM said it was pretty wide open....

The same thing happened to me. I called at the exact 180 day mark, at EXACTLY 7am and was only able to get two tables for our group of 7, unless we took the 4:10 or an 8:45. I booked two tables for 5:30. I am keeping both reservations and will let you know if we're seated together after we go on March 22nd.

In contrast I have been able to make and move reservations for Crystal Palace Lunch, Jiko Dinner, and Tony's as late as 4 weeks ago (not tried to tinker since then). We took prime lunch and prime dinner times and had no problem making reservations for our group of 7.

We're going the week after Easter, and one of the three busiest times of the year, so I know it'll be insanely busy. So I don't think LeCell has much to do with indicating crowd level for you, I think it's just a beast of a reservation to get. It's kind of the CRT for adults ;):rotfl:

We had 2 tables or a party of 8 and the tables were so close I felt like we were together. HTH

I don't know of any special events at this time. We chose this week in part due to an expectation of lower crowds :confused3 .

I'm also guessing it is Free Dining speculation.

I booked dinner there (for a party of 2 no less) at about 140 days for Memorial Day weekend, and I guarantee you that MDW will be busier than mid-September.

I'd say probably free dining speculation also.

I'd say go ahead and keep the 2 tables. Where we were seated was a long bench of tables with chairs on the other side. The tables were VERY close together. To the extent that it was difficult to slide out between the tables without feeling like you were encroaching on the other party!! It wouldn't really feel like you were separated at all if you got sat there.

What is so great about this place? I tried to get an ADR but they were booked my whole week. Am I really missing out?

Grab the 2 table ADR, and hold on to it tightly!! We have 5 in our party, and sometimes we have been seated at one big table, and others at 2 adjoining tables, we have never been split up.

We called at our 180 day mark a week ago today and got LeCellier for dinner at 5:05 (we asked for 5:00) for a party of two. I would take the two tables and just keep calling every day to see if there is a cancellation.

I don't think it's because of free dining. Like I've said many other times, we went last year during free dining and had absolutely no trouble getting the ADRs we wanted. We even changed them around while we were actually at WDW.

We didn't call 180 days out either.

Good for you? :confused3
