Le Cellier IllumiNations viewing?

Is it true you can see IllumiNations well from Le Cellier? If so, what time should we make our res for?

rose and cown has tables outside that you cn watch illuminatins from.

Be warned, it can be difficult to get a waterside table and the food is not the same standard as Le Cellier.

Hi carieg26, welcome to the DIS Boards!

Rose & Crown is really the only restaurant where you can view Illuminations while dining, and it isn't a sure thing that you'll be able to get a table where you can view the show (it's a very popular request). Rather than worry about it, we have dinner well before showtime, then find a place to settle in and watch Illuminations. There are many great viewing areas all around World Showcase.

We've been very lucky, getting a table with a nice view of Illuminations at Rose and Crown three times out of eight times we've eaten there during the show.

is the norm.... if you want to eat at LeCellier AND see illuminations after make an early ADR.
First week of April we had a 7:20PM ADR for LeCellier. I figured it gave us plenty of time to eat and go find a seat for Illuminations. WRONG. We were just getting dessert when we heard the fireworks starting. My BIL took the kids 9,7,7 out side as they had enough of sitting still for over an hour and a half.
The food was great and we will go back. Is this the norm to be so slow? What is a good ADR time to make sure you will see the show?

Same for us. 7:20 ADR, seated promptly, meal was well paced until dessert. We waited forever, asked if we could get it to go, still did not come. Missed Illuminations. We have seen it many times but this was the only night we had it schedualed this trip. Oh well, live and learn. Next time we will eat earlier or order dessert to go with our meal.

We ate at 6:30 at Le Cellier and that gave us an hour to find our illuminations spot. (And for a little browsing and a drink in the W.S.)
